We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This section summarises what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Identity & profile: name, username/handle, profile photo, SSO IDs.
  • Contact: email, phone (optional), addresses (optional).
  • SSO & social graph: OAuth tokens/IDs and scopes you authorise for Facebook/Meta, X, TikTok.
  • Usage & device: IP, device IDs, logs, pages, interactions.
  • Content & metadata: posts, media, comments, preferences.
  • Payments: billing contact, plan, transaction refs (cards handled by provider).

How We Use It (Lawful Bases)

  • Provide/operate Services incl. SSO (contract).
  • Improve/security, analytics, fraud prevention (legitimate interests).
  • Comms incl. service emails; marketing with consent (contract/LI/consent).
  • Compliance with law (legal obligation).
  • With your consent where required (withdraw anytime).

Sharing & Transfers

  • SSO providers you connect; posting/ingest per your settings.
  • Sub‑processors: hosting, storage, email, analytics, payments.
  • Advisers/authorities as required by law.
  • International transfers under UK IDTA/Addendum or equivalent safeguards.

Retention, Security & Children

We retain data only as long as necessary for Services, legal duties, and dispute resolution. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). Our Services aren’t directed to children under 13 (or higher local age).

Your Rights (UK GDPR)

  • Access, rectify, erase, restrict/object, portability.
  • Withdraw consent where applicable.
  • Complain to the UK ICO: ico.org.uk.

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Sass Works’ websites, apps, APIs, and services. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be 18+ and responsible for activity on your account.
  • Use strong passwords; enable MFA where available.
  • SSO via Facebook/Meta, X, TikTok subject to their terms.

2. Use of Services

  • Licence: limited, non‑exclusive, revocable.
  • Acceptable use: no abuse, IP infringement, malware, bypassing security/rate limits, unlawful activity, spam, or impersonation.
  • APIs/automation: follow docs, rate limits, and law.

3. Privacy

Your use is subject to our Privacy Policy (UK GDPR compliant).

4. Plans, Billing & Taxes

  • Subscriptions auto‑renew until cancelled; fees generally non‑refundable unless required by law.
  • Prices/features may change with reasonable notice.
  • Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT) may be charged.

5. IP & Content

  • Your content remains yours; you grant us a licence to operate/provide features (e.g., scheduling posts).
  • We/our licensors own the Services’ IP. Feedback may be used freely.

6. Availability & Changes

  • Features may evolve, be suspended or discontinued; beta features are “as is”.
  • We aim for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Third‑Party Terms

Integrations with Facebook/Meta, X (Twitter), TikTok and others are subject to those platforms’ terms, policies, and technical limits. You must comply with them.

8. Termination

  • You can cease use/cancel subscriptions in settings (where available).
  • We may suspend/terminate for breaches, risks, or legal reasons.
  • Surviving sections (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, law) continue.

9. Disclaimers & Liability

Services are provided “as is/available” without warranties (as permitted by law). We don’t exclude liability where unlawful to do so; otherwise we exclude indirect/consequential losses and cap liability at the greater of £100 or fees paid in the prior 12 months.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify Sass Works Ltd (directors, employees, affiliates) against claims/losses arising from your content, use of Services, or breach of these Terms or law.

11. Governing Law & Notices

  • Governing law: England and Wales; exclusive jurisdiction: courts of England and Wales.

  • General: entire agreement; severability; no waiver; assignment permitted by us in M&A etc.
